Manual Therapy
Manual Therapy
Manual hands-on therapy includes the use of various tools to improve soft tissue. Use of active/passive cupping techniques, dry/wet cupping, myofascial release, myofascial stretching, joint mobilizations, muscle//energy techniques, trigger point therapy/release, range of motion, various stretching techniques (contract/relax, pinch and stretch, assisted stretching), instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, manual traction, manual soft tissue mobilization all done to improve joint kinematics for proper muscle /joint movement. These techniques help decrease pain with movement and assist in the rehabilitation process to improve joint range of motion and proper muscle recruitment for pain-free movement and for progressive strengthening without limiting pain.

Dry needling
Dry needling
Dry needling is a treatment method used to address musculoskeletal or neuromuscular issues by inserting acupuncture needles into/around muscles or trigger points to relieve acute/chronic pain and stiffness. Dry needling is within the framework of Western Medicine vs acupuncture, which is Chinese Medicine that follows Meridian lines for the purpose of altering energy flow.
Dry needling is used to help address musculoskeletal diagnosis and pain to include but not limited to: focal muscular pain, piriformis syndrome, generalized mechanical low back pain, hip/ knee/ ankle/ elbow /shoulder/ neck pain - due to the presence of somatic dysfunction affecting muscles and their joints, groin pinching/impingement, shoulder impingement, headaches/migraines, TMJ disorders, Achilles tendinosis, Tennis elbow/golfers elbow, plantar fasciitis. Dry needling helps disrupt the pain cycle to improve physical therapy progression and results.

Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic Therapy uses the buoyancy of water to minimize stress and pain placed on joints (especially with those with osteoarthritis, back pain or recent surgeries). The resistance of water used for strengthening, allows for controlled movements in warm water to improve range of motion and stretching, enhance overall mobility, improve dynamic balance with various walking patterns and tools, the hydrostatic pressure of water can improve circulation, reduce swelling and flush out toxins from injured tissue. Use of therapeutic tools (flotation dumbbells, belts, ankle weights, kick board, noodles) is used for progressive resistance strengthening, challenge dynamic balance, facilitate core engagement, arm/leg strengthening, cardiovascular endurance to improve overall general deconditioning.
Body work
Body work
body work
More than a massage, it’s total body manual deep tissue manipulation with use of various tools and techniques such as: cupping, positional release, trigger point therapy, passive pinch and stretch, active and passive movement with instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, contract / relax, myofascial stretching, and relaxing joint mobilizations. These techniques are used to treat pain, improve movement, aid in injury recovery to promote greater soft tissue relaxation, to improve mobility of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves. All this to aid in your recovery from injuries or just overall stress that builds up in common areas like your shoulders, neck, upper, and lower back.
